Stu is a longtime guitarist and vocalist with roots in blues, rock, funk, and reggae. Influences are many: Hendrix, Clapton, Stevie Ray and his big brother Jimmie, Jeff Beck, John Scofield, to name a few. After doing stints with the E3 Band and later The Shards, Stu teamed up with JJ to form HighCamp, with the idea of creating a dance hall experience fueled by a provocative mix that was previously unavailable in MetroWest.

Stu has a particular fetish for Fender guitars, and currently owns an American Texas Special Fat Strat, the one and only “PieWeed Strat”, and a J. Mascis Jazzmaster. Other guitars include a vintage Paul Reed Smith EG3, and a Paul Reed Smith Santana SE. His main amp is Fender Deluxe Reverb ’65 Reissue. When not listening to music, or playing music, Stu is often in motion: on one of his bicycles, his cross country skis, or cruising in his ’82 BMW 323i.
