I have been a vocalist and percussionist for HighCamp since 2015. I enjoy several styles of music but my favorites are late 80s, alternative, and jazz. My musical influences over the years have been Stevie Nicks, Pat Benatar, Fiona Apple, India Arie, Joss Stone, Florence and the Machine, and Amy Winehouse, to name a few. I like being in HighCamp because we all come from different backgrounds but we love music and artistry.
We work hard but we also have fun and bring that balance when we perform. It’s dedication, with flair. My personal interests outside of band all lie within the arts. I have been a vocalist off and on since 1991, a community theater actor since 2000 and started tap dancing in 2013. I am currently a contracted dancer with Dance Company Worcester (who just recently appeared in Ghostbusters). I am also a 2005 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I do freelance graphic design work and also hold a mixed media studio at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell.
